PAUL
WIELAND TO ANNOUNCE FOR STATE REP
IMPERIAL,
MO: Former Republican state representative Paul Wieland will
announce his candidacy to represent Missouri's 102nd
district at a special event on Sunday, February 21, 2010 in
Imperial. Wieland,
who once represented the 101st district in Missouri's
General Assembly, will outline the reasons behind his
decision to return to Jefferson City at the kickoff
celebration. With
his wife Terri, Wieland owns and operates an independent
insurance agency in Jefferson County. The family also
includes three daughters. Paul
has served as the Chairman of the Jefferson County Health
Department since 2005. In that time, he has overseen
the department's response to health issues associated with
floods, tornadoes, West Nile virus, and pandemic flu, as
well as advancing its regulatory oversight of tattoo parlors
and adult-oriented businesses. Wieland
also serves as co-chair for the St. Pius X High School Long
Range Planning Committee, and is on the school's Advisory
Board. Wieland is a co-founder of Jeffco Business
Network and is the Vice President of its Arnold Imperial
Chapter. Wieland
has also served as Chairman of the St. Joseph (Imperial)
School Board and the University of Missouri Extension
Council. He has also served on the Advisory Board for
the Mastodon Arts and Sciences Fair. The
kickoff celebration will be held on Sunday, February 21,
2010 at Cafe Breve, 1266 Main Street, Imperial, MO from
